Chris wants to live in a world where the smell of fresh brewed coffee is your only alarm clock, summer is a twelve-month season, and nap-time is socially acceptable for adults. As an early childhood educator for most of her career, Chris is an advocate for hands-on learning and believes in the value of making messes. She's worked with children of all ages and is excited to foster a love of cooking in chefs of all ages. Chris has fond memories of spending her early years at her grandmother's nursery school and her school-aged years helping at her family's restaurant. She sees Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio as a perfect blend of all her passions and an opportunity to start her own family-owned business (her daughter Shaylee is her partner and studio manager).
