I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and have only lived in North Carolina since August. I’ll be a senior at Fuquay-Varina High School this fall, and plan on pursuing a career in mechanical engineering. I’ve been cooking and baking my whole life, but have been doing so seriously since quarantine started. This past year I even had the opportunity of student teaching the culinary class at a middle school! If anyone I know needs something to be baked, they ask me to bake it for them, I really enjoy being able to cook and bake things for important events for people I care about! I really enjoy working with the lil' chefs at Flour Power because I love their enthusiasm and willingness to learn how to use everything in the kitchen. It’s super cool to think that at Flour Power we’re able to give people a hobby or passion that can stick with them for the rest of their life! Favorite ingredient to use: Sprinkles. Favorite food to make: Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Favorite dessert: Paula Deen’s butter cake. Favorite kitchen scent: fresh cinnamon rolls. Favorite Food Network Chef: Ree Drummond.
