Come sauce Like a Boss with us this week as we stir up fun in the studio with scratch made sauces every day! We’ll learn about the “five mother sauces” (bechamel, espagnole, hollandaise, tomato and velouté) and how they differ based on their main ingredient and thickening agent! Our menu this week includes Mac & Cheese with a Roux sauce, Homemade Marinara Sauce, Western and Eastern BBQ Sauces, Pizza with Homemade Tomato Sauce, Burritos with Nacho Cheese Sauce, Baked Egg Rolls & Polynesian Sauce, Molten Lava Cakes with Chocolate Honey Fudge Sauce, Mini Apple Pie Empanadas with Caramel Sauce plus more yummy sauces!

We'll be sizzling through some friendly competition today with an edible flag cake competition made with berries and fresh whipped cream. We'll have American Striped Pizzas for lunch with green bean casserole, and patriotic parfaits for afternoon snack. A fun camp not to be missed!

At Flour Power we love all the seasons but Winter is a really good one! We love getting up and cooking yummy foods that make our tummies happy! This week we’ll plan and cook for a Pool Party, Tea Party, Tailgate Party, Birthday Party, and Slumber Party (and enjoy the fruits of our labor)! We’ll make Jello “Pool” Cups, Quiche, Scones, Football Whoopie Pies, Sheetcake Pancakes, Chicken Wings, Fruit Tarts, and we’ll even create our own tiered birthday cakes! We’ll mix in some kitchen science and etiquette and even learn some party planning! You do not want to miss a chance to make all the best food from all the best parties!
