It’s easy to make food using box mixes and prepared foods but this week we will show you how easy it is to make foods from scratch. Let’s cook outside the box and make: Banana Bread, Southern Biscuits and Blueberry Jam, Cheesy Hamburger Helper, Homemade Mac & Cheese, Scratch-made Brownies, Goldfish Crackers and more! Be prepared to be amazed!

What makes grains so mighty? We will learn how different grains grow and cook, and how to turn them into Maple Millet Porridge and Southwest Rice & Black Bean Salad.

What makes whole grains so powerful? We will explore different grains and practice cooking them. We’ll prepare a hearty Barley & Roasted Veggie Pilaf and Honey Wheat Dinner Rolls.

Attention Grandparents and “Grand-friends!” We are celebrating the most special people in the world. Join us this Grandparents Day as we stir up fun making Gourmet Personal Pizzas, Mini Fancy Fruit Tarts and Sparkling Pink Lemonade! *Family events are designed for children and adults to cook together; this is not a drop off event. Each registration much include at least one adult and one child for $80 and then $40 for each additional participant.

Let’s go on a grainy adventure and exploring grains, pasta, and beans using our senses. Then, we will put our new knowledge to use by making Cheesy Rice Bites and Bean & Veggie Soft Tacos!
