Understanding and Acknowledgement of Risks, and Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that the participation of myself and/or my child(ren) in activities hosted by Flour Power (at a Flour Power studio or virtually) is a potentially hazardous activity that involves certain known and unanticipated risks and dangers that could result in physical injury to myself and/or my child(ren). On behalf of myself and/or my child(ren), I hereby knowingly and voluntarily assume any and all risks of any physical injury to myself and/or my child(ren), including all risks associated with known and unanticipated risks and dangers which may result from participation in activities hosted by Flour Power.
I understand that my child(ren) and/or I may come into contact with foods while participating in activities hosted by Flour Power including (but not limited to) milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish. If my child(ren) and/or I are allergic to any of these foods or any others, I have specifically listed them on any applicable forms. If my child(ren) and/or I develop any new allergies after I fill out any applicable form but prior to my or my child(ren)’s participation in activities hosted by Flour Power, I will immediately update any applicable forms with such information. I also understand that my child(ren) and/or I may come into contact with foods that have been prepared by other people at other locations, and I understand that those foods may (without the knowledge of Flour Power) have come into contact with foods in the cooking or preparation process that may cause allergic reactions. I understand that I am allowed to remain with my child(ren) for the duration of the activities hosted by Flour Power in order to monitor contact with food.
Waiver of Liability
I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE FLOUR POWER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INC., FLOUR POWER, INC., AND KIDS A-STEAM, LLC (COLLECTIVELY, “FLOUR POWER”) AND THEIR AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, EMPLOYEES, AND INSURERS FROM ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY TO ME, MY CHILD(REN), MY PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, AND ASSIGNS, FOR ANY AND ALL LOSS, INJURY, OR OTHER DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TO MY PERSONAL PROPERTY, AND ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, MEDICAL EXPENSES, CAUSES OF ACTION AND SUITS BY REASON OF, RELATING TO, GROWING OUT OF OR RESULTING FROM THE PARTICIPATION OF MYSELF AND/OR MY CHILD(REN) IN ALL ACTIVITIES HOSTED BY FLOUR POWER.
Medical Consent
I am a custodial parent of the minor child(ren) participating in activities hosted by Flour Power. I authorize each member of the staff of Flour Power, who are all adults in whose care the minor child(ren) has/have been entrusted, to do any acts which may be necessary or proper to provide for the health care of the minor child(ren), including, but not limited to, the power (i) to provide for such health care at any hospital if necessary, or the employing of any physician, dentist, nurse, or other person whose services may be needed for such health care, and (ii) to consent to and authorize any health care, including administration of anesthesia, X-ray examination, and other procedures by physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel except the withholding or withdrawal of life sustaining procedures. I understand that the Flour Power staff will make every effort to contact me as soon as possible. By signing below, I indicate that I have the understanding and capacity to communicate health care decisions and that I am fully informed as to the contents of this document and understand the full import of this grant of powers to the agent named herein.

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for this website. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this website. I acknowledge that this privacy policy notifies me of the following:
- What personally identifiable information is collected from me through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
- What choices are available to me regarding the use of my data.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Flour Power is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. Flour Power only has access to collect information that I voluntarily give via email or other direct contact. Flour Power will not sell or rent this information to anyone. Flour Power will use my information to respond to me, regarding the reason I contacted Flour Power. Flour Power will not share my information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill my request (for example, to ship an order). Unless I ask Flour Power not to, Flour Power may contact me via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
Access to and Control Over Information
I may opt out of any future contacts from Flour Power at any time. I can do the following at any time by contacting Flour Power via the email address or phone number given on this website.
- See what data Flour Power has about me, if any.
- Change/correct any data Flour Power has about me.
- Have Flour Power delete any data Flour Power has about me.
- Express any concern I have about Flour Power’s use of my data.
Security
Flour Power takes precaution to protect my information. When I submit sensitive information via this website, my information is protected both online and offline. Wherever Flour Power collects sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to Flour Power in a secure way. I can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of the web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. While Flour Power uses encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, Flour Power also protects my information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which Flour Power stores personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Flour Power’s Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page.
Posting Rules
I agree that I will not post, display or transmit any photographs, images, logos, documents, information, materials or other content to this website or through any third-party video platform during a Virtual Session (collectively, “Materials”) that contain: (i) copyrighted material (unless you own the copyright or have the owner's permission to post such copyrighted material); (ii) material that infringes on or misappropriates any other intellectual property rights, including, without limitation, copyright, trademark and defamation laws or violates the privacy or publicity rights of others; (iii) anything that is discriminatory, sexually explicit, inappropriate, obscene, libelous, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, or hateful; (iv) anything that is embarrassing or offensive to another person or entity; or (v) material that violates any laws, rules or regulations or promotes illegal activities. I have sole responsibility for the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, reliability, appropriateness of all Materials. I hereby grant Flour Power a non-exclusive license to use, copy, modify, store, transmit and display the Materials for commercial purposes.
Flour Power has the right in its sole discretion to remove, edit or alter any Material that, in its sole judgment, does not comply with these Posting Rules and any other Flour Power rules of user conduct, or is otherwise harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate, and I hereby consent to such removal. Flour Power is not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such Material. I agree that Flour Power may at any time, and at its sole discretion, terminate my account, or other affiliation with Flour Power without prior notice to you for violating any of the above provisions.
I agree to indemnify, defend and hold Flour Power and its agents, representatives, employees, and insurers harmless from and against all damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from any claim, demand, lawsuit, or other action brought by any third party that relates to or arises from any (a) breach of these Posting Rules, or (b) violation of any third party video platform’s rules, regulations and acceptable use policies and procedures relating to a Virtual Session.
Video Surveillance
I understand that Flour Power may conduct video surveillance of any portion of its premises (excluding the restrooms) at any time that Flour Power may choose. Video cameras are positioned in order to help promote the safety and security of people and property. I hereby give my consent to any such video surveillance, and I release Flour Power from all liability associated with any such video surveillance.
Photo and Video Release
I understand that photos and video may be taken while I am participating and/or my child(ren) is/are participating in activities hosted by Flour Power. I give my permission for images or videos of myself and/or my child(ren) to appear in brochures, websites, promotional media, and training videos used by Flour Power, without compensation.
Alcohol Policy
I understand that participants at Flour Power who are 21 years old or older may bring and consume beer and wine with up to 16% ABV (but not hard liquor) to Flour Power as allowed by law. I agree that I will not give alcohol to anyone that is under 21 years of age. If I see anyone under the age of 21 drinking alcohol, I will immediately notify a Flour Power representative. If I choose to drink alcohol, I am solely responsible for monitoring the amount that I consume, and I agree not to consume alcohol in excess of my ability to perform activities at Flour Power. I agree to take all beer cans and bottles, wine bottles, and any other alcohol-related garbage with me when I leave. I assume all responsibility for any injury that may occur to me or others as a result of my bringing beer and wine to Flour Power. I understand that a participant who engages in inappropriate behavior while at Flour Power may be asked to leave the premises.
Use of Personal Property
I understand that my child(ren) must bring their own equipment, laptop, tablet, or other electronic device to any camps, academies, or other events hosted by Flour Power in order to participate in any online school classes, sessions and/or workshops. I understand that Flour Power employees are not teachers, tutors, or educators, and I acknowledge and agree that it is my child(ren)’s sole responsibility to participate in and complete any schoolwork, lessons, projects and/or assignments during any online school classes, sessions and/or workshops hosted by Flour Power.
I acknowledge and agree that Flour Power is not responsible for any personal property lost, stolen, or damaged while on Flour Power’s premises. I further agree that while on Flour Power’s premises, my child(ren) and/or I will not display or transmit any photographs, images, logos, documents, information, materials or other content on my equipment, laptop, tablet or other electronic device that contains: (i) anything that is discriminatory, sexually explicit, inappropriate, obscene, libelous, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, or hateful; (ii) anything that is embarrassing or offensive to another person or entity; or (iii) material that violates any laws, rules or regulations or promotes illegal activities.
Virtual Sessions
Flour Power may offer live, virtual sessions using a third-party platform where a Flour Power instructor is present in one location and session participants are in other locations (individually a “Virtual Session”). Flour Power reserves the right to cancel a Virtual Session because of low registration or events beyond Flour Power’s control. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified and offered the option to switch to a different Virtual Session or receive a refund. Virtual Session registration fees are nontransferable. I acknowledge and agree that no refund will be provided in the event that I and/or my child(ren) are unable to attend a Virtual Session for any reason.
A Virtual Session will require a compatible device, internet access, and certain software. I acknowledge and agree that system requirements are my responsibility. I am responsible for obtaining any equipment necessary to connect to and participate in a Virtual Session. I am responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of my IDs and passwords for a Virtual Session. I agree to comply with the rules, regulations and acceptable use policies and procedures of any third-party video platform used by Flour Power to conduct a Virtual Session.
A Virtual Session will require certain foods, ingredients, cooking utensils and kitchen appliances. I acknowledge and agree that obtaining all necessary supplies in order to participate in a Virtual Session is my responsibility.
I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL REMAIN WITH MY CHILD(REN) FOR THE DURATION OF A VIRTUAL SESSION IN ORDER TO MONITOR CONTACT WITH FOOD AND THE SAFE USE OF KITCHEN UTENSILS AND APPLIANCES.
I agree not to: (a) modify, copy or create derivative works based on a Virtual Session, (b) license, sell, transfer, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit or make a Virtual Session available to any third party, or (c) use a Virtual Session in connection with the development or offering of a service or product substantially similar to the products or activities offered by Flour Power.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT A VIRTUAL SESSION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND THAT A VIRTUAL SESSION IS VULNERABLE TO FRAUD OR UNAUTHORIZED USE. FLOUR POWER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF A VIRTUAL SESSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
